Yes, the first time your child tries a class at North Port Gymnastics is free.
To register for a trial class click on the Registration/Parent Portal button. You can request a trial class if there is availability. Please only sign up for a trial class within one week. Trials are set up to drop out of the class the day after the trial date is complete, so please be sure to notify our office staff after your trial whether you would like to officially enroll.
Girls: leotards with bare feet. NO bare midriffs/sports bras.
Boys: Athletic shorts and t-shirt or tank top with bare feet.
Yes, our annual registration fee is $40 due every August. We prorate the amount in January, March, June, and July.
Camp registration is $25, and is a separate registration fee.
We enroll year-round on a rolling basis. Our enrollment is monthly so we will prorate the monthly fee depending on the week your child joins. Classes do not stop; your child will remain enrolled until we receive your notice of intent to drop a class.
We bill a true per-class/monthly tuition, so tuition rates may vary month to month
For example, if you attend class on Monday, multiply
the per class fee by either 3, 4 or 5 Mondays in the month to get your total monthly class price.
The following are our per class fee fees:
30-minute classes $14.25 per class
45-minute classes $16.75 per class
60-minute classes $20.00 per class
1 hour and 15-minute classes $24.50 per class
1 hour and 30-minute classes $25.50 per class
Additional classes and sibling's classes receive a 20% discount.
If your child is under 5 years old, you must stay on site during their entire class. If your child is 5 or older, then you may leave so long as a cell phone number is on file with the front office and you are okay with your student being dismissed off the gym floor for the restroom and drinking fountain independently.

Recreational classes close for 4 weeks a year: the week of Spring Break, the week of July 4th, and two weeks for Winter Break.
We require a written/time stamp notice to drop out of a class. Please remember that signing up for a class is a commitment and your child’s coach is in the gym ready to coach a class even if your child isn’t. Drop notices received by the 15th of the month will be dropped at the end of the current month. Notices received after the 15th will be dropped at the end the following month, with the following month’s tuition due.
Yes, your child gets one make up per session. They can come to any other (same level) class on another day but you must call or send us a message to schedule in advance. They can also come to Open Gym as their make up. You would not pay for open gym but if your child orders pizza the cost is $6.00. Make-ups need to be used within 30 days. For accounts that are 31 days past due you will not be eligible for make-ups until your account is brought current.
We offer Open Gym almost every Friday night (see our annual calendar for closure dates). Children ages 18 months to 4 years old can attend open gym 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Parents go out on the gym floor with their child and are expected to stay with their kids the entire time. Children ages 5 and up can attend the open gym 6:00pm-8:30pm.
Open Gym is not structured like our weekly classes; our coaches will open certain areas of the gym and the kids are free to have fun. We do ask that the kids work on skills that are within their capabilities. Our coaches act more like lifeguards and will rotate around the gym with very little spotting or one on one coaching.
The cost is $6 for the one-hour Tiny Tumblers open gym and $17.00 for the kids ages 5 and up. Pizza is available if you wish and is an additional charge of $6 and includes 2 slices of pizza (cheese or pepperoni) and a juice box. There is no sharing pizza. Pizza is ordered at 6:30 so if you are running late just give us a call and we’ll count you in for pizza.
No, you can come during any part of open gym. Your child may not leave the gym area early without checking out at the desk with a parent present.
Please let staff know if there are any changes to instructions for your child’s pick up.
Yes, you need to register on our parent portal. If your child is attending an open gym as a make up please send us a message in the app to enroll.
Normal camp hours are 9AM-6PM. Camp fee for the day is $40. We offer a sibling discount, the first child is full price with a 10% discount given to all additional children, discounts are ONLY eligible on pre-registrations. Early drop off is available at 7:30 for an additional $5 per child.
Pre-registration is required. You can register in the parent portal/Full Out app. Availability for drop-ins is very limited.
Advance payment is required. There are no refunds or changes after the payment has been made. A credit card is required or a prepayment will need to be set up in order to hold a student’s spot. We will only allow drop-ins if there is space available. Vending / Lunches / AM care will be billed at the end of each week. We run tuition fees one week prior to camp week. Any additions or late payments made within once week will be charged a late registration fee of $5 per day, up to $25 per student. Drop ins will also be charged the additional $5 fee.
We follow Sarasota County School Calendar and are open for camp most of their closure days. The few days that we are closed for are New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day Weekend, July Fourth, Labor Day Weekend, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Campers must bring a packed lunch with an icepack and a water bottle daily. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided. We have lunches available (just in case) for $5.00. Please do not rely on us to provide lunches on a daily basis, we understand that life happens so we make this available only if needed. Parents must let us know at the time of drop off that their child needs a lunch for the day.
Electronics are not permitted at camp.
Every January you will receive a statement that will include our tax id and the amount paid for childcare.
We offer aftercare for Imagine Elementary only. We meet students in the cafeteria and walk over to our facility. We offer time in the gym, homework/reading time and end the day playing games or watching TV. Pick up is available until 6PM. Charges are $70 per week or $15 per day.
We will walk if it is only a light sprinkle. If there is lightning and it is unsafe to walk we will wait until it clears up before walking over. We do recommend that each child has a small umbrella or rain jacket in their backpack to use if needed.
Students must be on our list in order to attend aftercare. You must notify your child’s teacher and the office to make arrangements prior to your child attending aftercare.
We offer both full and part-time care. You only pay for the days that your child attends. This process may change if our numbers start reaching close to capacity.
Yes, we can set up contact with a coach and you can work with them to schedule one on one lessons. The minimum fee is $35 for 30 minutes; cost can go up from there depending on coaches experience.
Private lessons still need to do the online registration and pay the $40 registration fee to attend lessons. Out of respect for our local gymnastics centers, we do not offer private lessons for students from other gyms locally.
Please notify the coach as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Last minute cancelations will still be charged. Please realize that coaches are taking their own time to work one on one with your child and their schedule can not be easily altered without notice. Our coaches that offer private lessons are in high demand and often have a waitlist which makes their time and availability very valuable.
Payment is made to the coach directly.
